Ayurvedic Medicine & Psychology

Ayurveda touches every aspect of life and this approach is also reflected in my work. My approach is based on Ayurvedic Medicine, with a focus on Psychology.

Ayurveda Medicine

Ayurveda medicine is a millennia-old, holistic alternative medicine system that views the human being as an inseparable whole - body, mind and everything beyond.

Our relationships, roles and responsibilities in life, our financial situation, our inner state, as well as our overall life circumstances and the influences of nature continuously shape our health.

The balance of the doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) is restored through constitution-based diagnostics, individualized nutrition, lifestyle adjustments, herbal medicine, manual therapy and cleansing procedures such as Panchakarma. The aim is not just to treat symptoms, but to recognize the root of the imbalance and balance it sustainably.

Ayurveda Psychology

At the center of Ayurveda Psychology lies the balance of the mind.

It explores our inner dynamics, emotions, imprints (Samskaras), as well as thought and behavioral patterns, and how they influence our mental, emotional and physical health.

In my work, I combine Ayurvedic wisdom with modern insights to bridge traditional approaches with modern life. Particular focus lies on stress, sleep, the nervous system, nutrition, digestion and emotions, as they are deeply interconnected and significantly shape our inner balance.

This process is supported through therapeutic guidance, mindfulness practices, meditation, breathwork and, where supportive, individually tailored body-oriented approaches.

The sessions take place wherever they integrate most naturally into your life. Whether online, at your workplace, at your home, outdoors or at the B-YOUnique Studio.

Nutrition

In Ayurveda, nutrition is viewed individually and adapted to constitution, lifestyle and current needs. The gut-brain connection also plays an important role here.

Nervous System

Our nervous system is often under constant pressure in modern everyday life. External stimuli, stress and a lack of regeneration can lead to a loss of inner calm and balance. Various Ayurvedic approaches and vagus nerve regulating techniques can help support and strengthen the nervous system sustainably.
